ZOOM Child Portrait Workshop

I have changed this from an in person course to an online Zoom course due to the lack of people able to attend in person.This course will focus on children ages 6-10, for lighting, posing and styling to get the most unique and amazing portraits.

March 16th and for the following four weeks, every Saturday, 9am Pacific Standard Time start time each day, 2 hours per session per week.

What you will learn:

• Age ranges for best results

• Posing for storytelling

• Lighting in studio for dramatic effect

• Lighting for composite work

• Lighting your subject outside in any type of lighting

• Styling for best results and storytelling

• Culling and selecting images that will have the most impact in this genre

• Basic camera raw settings to set up your images for the best post results

• Retouching children

• Learn easy composite steps that don’t take hours, but will help you create dreamy images

• Basics of using AI for composite images

• Utilizing AI in Photoshop and other software to assist in the edit flow of your images

• Discussions around getting creative ideas, and how to build a shoot around the story

Skill level for this workshop is intermediate to advanced camera skills and photoshop skills. It is advised to have a strong understanding of your camera and its settings, as well as Photoshop so you don’t get lost while learning.

These are the type of images that sell like hot cakes in your business, the key is to have a predetermined vision for colors, styling and what type of story you wish to tell. Lighting and posing are key to getting the best results!
